Living in a country where we experience at least 3 out of 4 seasons, we young urban dwellers don’t generally have the space or capability of keeping a greenhouse in our home where fresh produce or herbs can be grown and be used in our salads or our smoothies.  That’s why we make that trip to our local farmers market as often as we can.  Enter Urban Cultivator with Living Produce Aisle, a new concept store that combines  local grocer, smoothie bar, and kitchen appliance store, all into one.  In fact, just this weekend, the Living Product Aisle store held it’s grand opening for their first store at 1168 Hamilton Street in Yaletown, Vancouver.

If you were to walk down Yaletown and  into the Living Product Aisle shop today, you would have the opportunity to purchase fresh salads, flats of micro-greens and herbs and Urban Cultivator appliances.  The special thing about the smoothies?  They’re all harvested to order.  So everything you get from the yogurt, juices, to the fruits and the greens that go in the smoothie is not only 100% organic, but is also the freshest possible.  A pick-me up smoothie after hot yoga never tasted so fresh!
